What is a Health Coach?

 

A Health Coach is a supportive mentor who motivates individuals to make positive health choices. Through simple lifestyle and behaviour adjustments, Health Coaches are able to support and educate clients to achieve their health and life goals. 

 

 

Why have Health Coaching?

 

The concept of health coaching is relatively new, although more established in the USA. Let’s start with what a health coach isn’t – we are not a nutritionist, or medical professionals. That being said, health coaches often work as an important member of a person’s medical team, for example supporting them with implementing dietary guidelines linked to a particular health condition. The ethos of health coaching is both simple and beautiful. We are a health advocate, there to empower and support a person to achieve their health goals, whatever they may be. Common reasons for engaging a health coach include weight management, reducing stress, wanting more energy and desire to eat more healthily. Many people simply stroll through life, unhappy and unsatisfied, Health Coaching empowers individuals to make positive changes which will transform their life from ordinary to extraordinary.

As a Health Coach, I support my clients by meeting every two weeks to make step-by-step changes to their lifestyle choices through a holistic approach.

My aim is to ensure that they're able to reach their goals, which are both achievable and sustainable. I support them to do so in a way that’s enjoyable and easily integrated into their busy lives.

One to One Personal Training 

 

Personalised, bespoke fitness programme perfectly suited to meet your fitness and health related goals including body measurements and fitness test to measure progress. 

 

Group Training (2 people or more)

 

Group personal training caters for two or more people at any one time at a location of your choice, and is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and gender. Train with your friends, have fun while keeping each other accountable. Group training can keep you motivated while supporting each other to achieve your goals. Whatever your goal, every component of performance is catered for due to our belief in bio individuality.
